Grad Ed student makes
the news
Daryle Adams, a social
studies teacher at A.L. Brown High School, has been named the
2009-2010 Teacher of the Year for the Kannapolis City Schools. He is
currently pursuing a master's of education administration degree
from Wingate University.

Outstanding students
Congratulations to Sport Administration student Tony Pyland,
who won first place in USA Today's annual essay
contest on sportsmanship. For a link to his essay, click

Congratulations to doctorate student Anne Radke, who is the
recipient of the 2009 Gilbert-McNairy Scholarship in the amount of
$4000 for the Eta State Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma
International Society of Women Educators. The scholarship will
assist her in her work in the doctoral program.
Miller Analogies Test
The Miller
Analogies Test (MAT) will be administered in the Bridge Building
Computer Lab at Wingate University in Wingate, N.C. on the following
dates:
March 30 at 3:15 p.m.
April 27 at 3:15 p.m.
(subject to change)
May 11 at 3:15 p.m.
