Why Wingate

Wingate University is responding to new demands in education with graduate education programs to prepare you to become a leader within the global context. Our graduate and licensure programs in teaching and administration, elementary education, educational leadership, physical education, sport administration and the new Doctorate in Educational Leadership coming this fall are also in line with North Carolina’s 21st Century education standards. 

Classes are interactive, current and relevant with a focus on hands-on learning through internships, class projects and discussions. Our teachers bring relevant experiences into the classroom and our faculty and staff provide personal attention through advising and teaching.
